delete means delete.
Deleting your Nocaps account (the app is Nocaps: Journal That Answers, by Live Better Platforms, Inc.) removes everything: your entries, the six characters' replies and what they remembered about you, your cast and your mark, any photos, your name and email if you added them, and the push token. It starts within minutes and is complete within 30 days, with a note when it is done; backups age out within a further 30 days.
in the app
Tap your mark on the bar (the fourth stop), then delete the account and the file, then delete it all. That is the whole thing, on Android and on iPhone. It asks one optional question on the way out.
if the app is gone from your phone
Reinstall it on the same phone and your file comes back on its own; on a new phone it comes back with a sign-in or by restoring a purchase. Then delete from the app as above. If that does not work, write to hello@nocaps.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email you signed in with if you added one, and a person does it by hand and confirms by reply.
what stays
The record that a subscription was bought and when, kept for tax and for fraud checks, with no name, no email and no entry attached to it. A subscription bought on Google Play or in the App Store is cancelled in the store's own subscriptions page; deleting the account does not cancel it there.
a copy first
Before deleting, the record is yours on your file screen sends you everything you wrote as one plain text file, subscriber or not. What we store and why is in the privacy policy.
