what Nocaps is
A private journal with fictional characters in it. Everything the cast say is generated by software. They are not therapists, doctors, lawyers or friends, they are sometimes wrong, and nothing they write is advice. If you are in difficulty, please talk to a real person.

You must be 16 or over to use Nocaps.
what it costs
$2.49 a week, or $59.99 a year. There is no free trial and no free first day. Billing renews until you cancel, you can cancel from inside the app without emailing anybody, and cancelling stops the next charge rather than refunding the current period. Your entries remain readable and exportable after you cancel.
your writing
It belongs to you. You give us permission to store it and to send it to an AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) for the sole purpose of generating replies and keeping the cast current on you. That permission ends when you delete it.
fair use
Do not use Nocaps to generate material that is illegal, or to write about a real person in a way intended to harm them. We can close an account that does. We may also change or discontinue the service, and if we ever shut it down we will give you 30 days to export everything first.
